Leadership Team

Peter Kua, Cofounder

Peter Kua is a distinguished data science strategist, entrepreneur, and thought leader with extensive experience in big data analytics and artificial intelligence. He has made significant contributions to the field through his leadership roles and strategic initiatives in various organizations.

Peter headed the Data Science and Analytics team at REV Media Group (formerly Media Prima Digital), where he was responsible for developing high-value, data-driven business cases and fostering a data-driven culture within the organization. He played a pivotal role in driving Malaysia’s National Big Data Analytics (BDA) Initiative under the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). His efforts included the development of the first National BDA Framework, which provided strategic recommendations and action plans to position Malaysia as a regional BDA hub.​

With over a decade of experience, Peter’s professional strengths encompass data science strategies, web development, project management, and thought leadership. His industry experience spans media, internet, manufacturing, FMCG, e-learning, and agriculture. He has conducted numerous training sessions and masterclasses on big data strategy for a wide range of organizations, including NTT Data, Pos Aviation, Maxis, and Johnson & Johnson. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he adapted his training methods to virtual platforms, continuing to educate senior managers and executives from companies like Citibank, Intel, Dell, and Maxis Broadband​.

Alvin Koay, Cofounder

Alvin Koay is a seasoned entrepreneur with a diverse portfolio spanning ecommerce, marketing, international import/export, and media. In 2014, his prowess in the tech startup arena was globally recognized when his company emerged victorious in both the business category and overall standings at an international tech startup competition hosted by The Guardian.

The competition, featuring 32 global tech startups, saw Alvin’s company shine under the scrutiny of a distinguished panel of 10 judges comprising academicians, venture capitalists, and media luminaries.

Through his technology company, MobileAds.com, Alvin pioneered interactive rich media ad campaigns for industry giants such as Softbank, Mercedes, Pizza Hut, McDonald’s, Procter & Gamble, and Unilever, showcasing his knack for innovation and business acumen on the global stage. When not immersed in the entrepreneurial world, Alvin channels his creativity as an artist, culminating in a solo exhibition at the Penang State Art Gallery in 2023.

To date, Alvin has worked with numerous B2B and B2C clients, helping them raise their organic search rankings and traffic in order to reach their target objectives.
